• To engage in research activities for the purpose of upgrading traditional food technology focusing on the microbiology, nutrition and biotechnology of African foods.
• To enhance my research career through teaching and extension activities for the purpose of disseminating knowledge and stimulating scientific interests.
• To provide academic and scientific leadership through the generation of novel research ideas and the aggressive pursuit of avenues for research funding and an active involvement in Postgraduate research supervision.
• To search for and be engaged in scientific collaborations and research networking.
• To commit myself to aggressive scientific writing and communication; believing that science is not relevant until when communicated.
• To keep abreast of trends and developments in science.
• To provide my colleagues and Students an avenue of receiving my papers and ideas.
• To fulfill divine destiny and goals.
